My name is Caroline Bowers and I was born in 1950! I have ridden and owned ponies and horses since I was four years old and have been closely involved in all aspects of equestrian life ever since. I ran my own riding school for ten years from 1975 to 1985 and am a former Chief Instructor of the South Oxfordshire (South) Hunt Branch of the Pony Club.
I have organised lessons, rallies, training sessions, courses and residential camps for children. For many years, I organised and taught the Maidensgrove Riding for Disabled Group.
I still compete in Dressage and TREC with my own horse but, in days gone by, have taken part in Horse Trials, Show Jumping, Dressage and Hunting.
My own grandchildren have had so much fun with our smallest pony, Smartie, and his bigger friend, Poppy, that I wanted to share that experience with other young children. Hence the creation of .
